About the role
AMD is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to improve the performance of key applications and benchmarks for AI platforms.
What you'll do
- Work with AMD architecture specialists to improve future products. - Apply a data-minded approach to target optimization efforts. - Participate in new ASIC and hardware bring ups. - Debug and fix existing issues while researching more efficient implementation methods. - Stay informed of software and hardware trends pertaining to algorithms and architecture.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. - Strong programming skills. - Experience building scalable automation, parallel data collection, and validation. - Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. - Experience with testing tools, test automation frameworks, and validation methodologies.
Nice to have
- Python programming skills. - Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source control systems (GitHub), and profilers. - Experience with AI, GPU, Accelerators, CCL, or Scale Out Networking.
