About the role
This role supports the SoC Architecture team with modeling of physical and performance aspects of SoC operation.
What you'll do
- Model electrical systems, circuits, and Power Delivery circuits (PMIC and PDN) at component and transistor levels. - Perform SPICE simulations at component and device level. - Build models for thermal systems and SoC traffic patterns. - Implement digital designs at RTL, gate-level, and transistor level. - Automate simulations and architecture exploration spaces using tools such as MatLab and SimuLink.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related experience (or Master's degree with 1+ year, or PhD). - Hands-on experience with MatLab, SimuLink, or similar modeling products. - Experience running SPICE simulations at component and device levels. - Background in modeling electrical systems, thermal systems, and power delivery networks (PMIC and PDN). - Experience in digital design across RTL, gate-level, and transistor level. - Experience modeling SoC traffic patterns and automating simulation environments.
Nice to have
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or Applied Mathematics. - Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Computer Architecture, or Queueing Theory.
