About the role
This SoC Design Verification Engineer role verifies High-Performance Data Processing Unit Chiplets and Automotive Microcontrollers across all phases of the verification lifecycle. Responsibilities include reviewing specifications, developing testbench architecture, creating verification plans, defining and closing coverage, and root-causing failures.
What you'll do
- Create verification plans for System-on-Chip designs. - Develop testbenches, testcases, and checkers to exercise and measure design behavior against specified intent. - Use digital simulation and debug tools to find and diagnose design issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve bugs.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 0-2 years of digital verification experience. - Understanding of digital design fundamentals. - Competency with HDL languages such as Verilog and SystemVerilog. - Experience with scripting languages like Python, Tcl/Tk, or Perl. - Familiarity with running EDA design tools in a UNIX design environment.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. - Experience with RISC-V, ARM, and/or MIPS CPU architecture. - Programming skills in C/C++. - Knowledge of formal verification tools and techniques.
