About the role
This role owns day-to-day operations of engineering and laboratory tools across multiple platforms, independently executing process, metrology, and tool-monitor work.
What you'll do
- Support daily laboratory operations by executing metrology measurements, data collection, FOUP preparation, and wafer handling. - Independently run process and metrology jobs across two or more tool platforms to meet engineering and customer deadlines. - Own weekly tool monitors and health checks, review results, identify out-of-spec trends, and initiate corrective action. - Run post-maintenance process qualifications and monitor wafers to confirm tools meet process specifications before release to engineering use. - Lead first-line troubleshooting and recovery of tool issues including wafer stops, handling faults, and process alarms. - Collaborate with engineers on root-cause analysis, sample preparation, and continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need
- Associate degree or technical certification with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a BS in a technical field with 0–1 years of experience. - Demonstrated hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting semiconductor process or metrology equipment. - Ability to safely handle wafers, FOUPs, and laboratory materials. - Experience following detailed procedures and work instructions. - Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
