About the role
As an SMTS Software Development Engineer on the Design Automation team, you will develop front end design automation flows and support a global Digital IP development team.
What you'll do
- Develop tools and automation to support front end verification, lint, synthesis, and package generation.
- Work closely with members of the Design Automation, Verification, and Development teams to collaboratively solve problems and build solutions.
- Provide support to our global engineering organization.
What you'll need
- BS or MS degree in electrical or computer engineering, or closely related degree.
- 5-10 years of experience working as a HW/SW engineer or in a related field.
- Proficiency with object-oriented programming methodologies.
- Proficiency with SystemVerilog and Verilog.
- Proficiency with Python, Tcl, Perl, and Bash.
- Understanding of CDC and RDC concepts.
- Experience creating automation for front end design EDA tools.
