About the role
As a Senior Member of Technical Staff Field Applications Engineer in the Global Sales Organization, you will provide technical support to customers, qualifying and securing new business while servicing existing accounts.
What you'll do
- Develop customized technical presentations and proposals to assist customers in evaluating foundry solutions. - Drive design win acquisition strategy, process execution, and customer technology demonstrations. - Serve as the primary technical interface to coordinate customer sales interactions and formulate customer requirements. - Collaborate with product marketing, design solutions, and technology development teams to communicate real-time customer feedback. - Identify competitive threats, analyze landscape trends, and resolve technical gaps or bottlenecks to prevent design win losses. - Partner with account and sales managers to resolve technical obstacles and achieve design win closure.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. - Minimum 8 years of experience in semiconductor IC design, system design, or semiconductor IC/system test. - Ability to travel up to 30%. - Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electronics/Electrical Engineering. - Experience supporting Power and SiPh technologies. - Experience with advanced-node semiconductor technologies and devices. - Experience with design rules, enablement flows, and tools. - Ability to travel internationally to customer sites and manufacturing fabs across the USA, Europe, and Asia.
