About the role
The Site Quality Leader (SQL) owns and maintains site quality KPIs—including NCe, SQI, 8D cycle time, and FA closure on time—while advancing reporting accuracy and quality processes across the site. The role serves as a conduit between the site and Factory and Engineering teams to address customer concerns and execute quality objectives.
What you'll do
- Provide expertise in problem statement creation, root cause determination, and efficacy of corrective actions using 5Why and Ishikawa methodologies. - Drive 8D quality and cycle time to meet customer and Lam expectations, updating the Factory when customer impact changes. - Analyze quality data to proactively identify trends, patterns, and areas for systemic improvement. - Hold service teams accountable for delivering on site quality objectives and develop local problem-solving capabilities. - Collaborate with the site and Quality Product Leaders (QPL) to resolve high-level customer quality concerns, share BKMs, and utilize escalation processes.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience, a Master’s degree with 6+ years, or equivalent work experience. - Previous experience in installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment. - Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals. - Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing personal protective safety equipment or a cleanroom suit. - Ability to travel domestically and internationally based on customer needs, with flexibility to work varied shifts including alternative workweeks, overtime, and on-call.

- Proficiency in basic computer skills and common office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
