This role focuses on the characterization of silicon photonics integrated circuits (PICs).
About the role
This role leads a team of optical test engineers and owns the strategy and execution for characterization of silicon photonics integrated circuits (PICs) and PIC components.
What you'll do
- Lead a team of optical test engineers.
- Establish testing priorities and deliverables with key stakeholders.
- Define test standards across multiple PIC product lines with the design team.
- Create, maintain, and present testing reports.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and implement with internal teams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on laboratory experience in photonics, semiconductor, or optoelectronic device testing.
- Experience with testing PICs, III-V devices, transceivers, or fiber-optics.
- Proven experience leading a team of test engineers.
- Demonstrated experience with developing and executing test plans.
Nice to have
- Experience with RF testing.
