About the role
This role drives and implements research and development projects for SiPh solutions, primarily focused on data center applications.
What you'll do
- Develop technology solutions for integrating novel materials (III-V materials, TFLN, polymers, BTO) into the SiPh foundry flow.
- Define process stack and integration flow.
- Coordinate design, process integration, and testing of R&D test vehicles.
- Execute from concept, technology definition, design, simulations, layout, process, and test.
What you'll need
- Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or Optics.
- >3 years work experience in a related field.
Nice to have
- PhD Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or Optics.
- >5 years work experience in a related field.
- Experience with InP, TFLN, BTO, and other novel modulator and materials for integration within a SiPh platform.
