About the role
The Shift Technical Instructor delivers Lam’s Manufacturing Academy core curriculum to the manufacturing team.
What you'll do
- Deliver instructor-led classroom instruction with hands-on training and coaching.
- Apply the ADDIE model for new and refreshed training course/program deliverables and job aids.
- Iterate on curriculum and support instructional designers and SMEs to build new curriculum content where needed.
- Measure and document student progress, gathering KPIs to inform strengths and weaknesses in curricular materials.
- Partner with the manufacturing team to identify training enhancement areas that improve safety, quality, and skills required to build equipment.
- Interact with internal stakeholders, supervisors, floor trainers, and other organizations to assess training organization effectiveness for continuous improvement.
What you'll need
- 1-3 years of relevant instructor-led technical training experience.
- Experience with manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience across Microsoft Applications including SharePoint, Yammer, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as Adobe Acrobat and Illustrator.
Nice to have
- Experience with e-learning tools such as Camtasia 9, Articulate Storyline 360, and Vyond.
- Demonstrated use of multiple learning methods and linking appropriate methods with learners and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to assess training effectiveness.
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and managers.
