About the role

This role defines and executes the strategic vision for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across Texas Instruments’ wafer fabrication facilities. The role focuses on orchestrating manufacturing events through a modern, scalable, and resilient Shop Floor Control platform.

What you'll do

  • Define the long-term vision and technology strategy for Shop Floor Control (MES) across all wafer fabrication facilities.
  • Own delivery of SFC program commitments across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring predictable execution.
  • Partner with Fab Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, and Factory Automation teams to translate manufacturing needs into scalable MES capabilities.
  • Lead the global SFC engineering organization responsible for wafer fab execution systems.
  • Provide technical leadership for capabilities including production execution, WIP management, dispatching integration, recipe and process enforcement, and equipment integration.
  • Drive modernization of legacy MES platforms and define future-state architecture leveraging APIs, event streaming, and cloud-native technologies.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience in manufacturing systems, industrial software, or MES.
  • 7+ years leading engineering organizations.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting semiconductor wafer fabrication manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Shop Floor Control.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale enterprise software initiatives.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments.
