About the role
This role involves coordinating service event requirements, material availability, and planning timelines for customers across North America. The Service Event Planner manages service events from initial planning through completion, supporting reliable equipment performance and successful maintenance activities.
What you'll do
- Create, maintain, and close service events using demand-planning and service-planning systems.
- Partner with field service teams to confirm work scope, replacement parts, and required delivery dates.
- Review schedules, material availability, and event status to maintain accurate planning dates.
- Identify parts shortages and readiness risks, then communicate priorities and recommended actions.
- Coordinate material requirements for new products, equipment improvements, and implementation activities.
- Evaluate available and excess inventory to reduce waste and support upcoming customer service events.
What you'll need
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain management, operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Three or more years of relevant experience in service planning, demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, production planning, logistics, or field service support.
- Experience coordinating complex material requirements across cross-functional teams.
- Experience using enterprise resource planning, demand-planning, or supply chain systems, such as Oracle Demantra.
- Experience analyzing planning data, identifying operational risks, and communicating recommendations to stakeholders.
