Drive ATE test automation and program generation tools across Advantest and Teradyne platforms for analog and mixed-signal power and sensing devices.

About the role

As a member of the DfT and Test Technology Development team, you will serve as an ATE Application Engineer defining, developing, and deploying automated test solutions supporting Analog and Digital test strategies across various product lines. The role focuses on developing low-level ATE code and automated test program generation tools for Analog and Mixed-Signal blocks targeting automotive and industrial markets.

What you'll do

- Own and lead the definition, architecture, and development of ATE automation solutions, reusable frameworks, and standardized test method libraries for new product development. - Develop, maintain, and refactor production-ready automation software and test program generation utilities using C, C++, Python, or Java. - Provide hands-on ATE application support and on-tester debug for Analog and Mixed-Signal devices from early silicon bring-up through high-volume production ramp. - Apply understanding of ATE system architectures such as ETS-800, T2000, and iFlex to optimize test flow, performance, and cost of test. - Collaborate directly with ATE vendors including Advantest and Teradyne to develop and support low-level tester automation and platform-specific solutions. - Interface cross-functionally with Design, DfT, and BU Product Engineering teams to translate requirements into automated test solutions.

What you'll need

- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of direct semiconductor ATE test automation experience. - Proven experience as an ATE Application Engineer supporting IC testing for Analog and Mixed-Signal devices, particularly in power and sensing products. - Hands-on experience developing test solutions on ATE platforms such as Advantest and/or Teradyne (e.g., ETS-800, T2000, V93K, or iFlex). - Strong software development skills in C, C++, Python, and/or Java, including automation frameworks and tester-resident software. - Solid understanding of DfT concepts, IC test strategies, and test method development across digital and analog domains.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with EDA tools from Siemens, Synopsys, or Cadence.
