About the role
This role involves leading software methodology programs to ensure chips are testable, debuggable, and manufacturable at scale across infrastructure, implementation, verification, and silicon bring-up.
What you'll do
- Lead the end-to-end program lifecycle for DFX software methodology from requirements through adoption.
- Build and lead roadmaps, schedules, and dependencies for DFX flow, tool, and infrastructure releases.
- Drive the release and deployment process for DFX flows and tooling, including version planning, quality gates, and user adoption.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements and document architecture, interfaces, and workflows.
- Coordinate license and data infrastructure needs with CAD and IT partners.
- Lead verification and validation planning for methodology, including pattern coverage and regression health.
- Proactively identify technical, resource, and schedule risks, developing mitigations and providing status to leadership.
- Build metrics and dashboards for methodology health, adoption, and efficiency, driving process improvement through automation.
What you'll need
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of combined experience, with a minimum of 3 years of technical program management experience.
- Understanding of the ASIC/SoC design, verification, and bring-up/productization flow, including DFT insertion, scan/ATPG/MBIST, pattern verification, ATE, and in-system test.
- Experience managing software, tooling, or methodology programs, including release cycles, quality gates, and infrastructure dependencies.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills to effectively guide and influence.
- Deep understanding of technology with excellent judgment and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with DFX methodologies.
- Experience scripting and automating tasks; proficiency in Python.
- Knowledge of APIs and data analytics for program management and metrics dashboards.
- A track record of mentorship.
