About the role
This role involves overseeing maintenance automation within manufacturing facilities, ensuring the reliable operation of transport systems and automation equipment in 200 mm and 300 mm manufacturing. This position operates in a continuous 8-hour shift system within a cleanroom environment.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop a shift team, including employees and apprentices.
- Manage transport systems and automation equipment.
- Provide IT FAB support for production lines, including AMC shutdowns, coordination, and escalation to on-call teams.
- Respond to disruptions promptly and initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, security requirements, fire protection regulations, and cleanroom guidelines.
What you'll need
- Vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology.
- At least three years of professional experience in maintenance, ideally within the semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of automation systems and control room operations.
- Confident communication skills in both German and English.
