About the role
This role involves leading the post-silicon validation of integrated circuits, focusing on high-power, high-efficiency power management systems.
What you'll do
- Drive the validation of analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power management ICs against electrical, functional, and performance specifications.
- Define validation strategy and methodologies, and develop comprehensive validation plans for complex products, platforms, or systems.
- Drive test automation, validation infrastructure, and continuous improvement initiatives for post-silicon evaluation.
- Design custom evaluation boards and supporting hardware for silicon characterization.
- Develop automated validation frameworks and measurement scripts using Python.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to validation engineers and project teams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with 8-12 years of experience in power conversion, power management, semiconductor applications, or related system design.
- Technical leadership experience driving validation activities across multiple programs and product generations.
- Ability to define validation methodologies, test strategies, and coverage plans for complex mixed-signal and power-management ICs.
- Proven track record of hands-on bench validation, characterization, and debugging of complex hardware systems.
- Deep hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, source meters, digital multimeters, waveform generators, logic analyzers, and thermal characterization equipment.
- Proficiency in Python programming, with experience developing automated test solutions and laboratory automation frameworks.
- Deep experience with board level analog and digital circuit design and expertise for PCB schematic creation.
- Extensive experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from first silicon through production release.
- Excellent command of verbal and written English.
