About the role
This role involves technical leadership in developing advanced algorithms and middleware for embedded drive solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead a team of motor control engineers focused on advanced algorithm development for embedded drive applications.
- Guide the design, implementation, testing, and optimization of high-performance motor control software.
- Serve as the technical interface between the local engineering team, the architecture team, and global motor control counterparts.
- Ensure robust validation, documentation, and release readiness for motor control software modules.
- Support key customer engagements by providing deep technical expertise and solution-oriented guidance.
- Coach and mentor engineers, fostering technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.
What you'll need
- M.Sc./PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering, or equivalent.
- Deep expertise in motor control theory and implementation, including field-oriented control, sensorless control, modulation techniques, current/torque/speed control loops, and motor parameter identification.
- Strong hands-on experience developing and validating motor control algorithms for PMSM, BLDC, and AC induction motor applications.
- Familiarity with embedded real-time software development, MCU-based motor control platforms, inverter hardware, power stages, and lab-based motor drive validation.
- Excellent customer focus with strong communication skills.
- Result-oriented, self-organized, self-motivated with independence of thought.
