About the role
This role is for a Senior Staff Product Development Engineer specializing in FPGA, hardware programmable SoCs, and ACAP. This position focuses on delivering dynamic processor technology for various markets including Data Center (Compute, Storage and Networking), Wireless/5G and Wired Communications, Automotive/ADAS, Emulation & Prototyping, and Aerospace & Defense.
What you'll do
- Execute new product evaluation and 1st Silicon debug to achieve the fastest time to production.
- Define verification plans for product functionality and performance, implementing proper screening in NPI and Production test.
- Develop innovative test methodologies to ensure the highest level of product quality for Automotive market segments.
- Analyze and solve technical issues, generating cost-effective solutions for production ramp.
- Identify and facilitate new business opportunities by addressing customer requirements for out-of-spec use cases.
- Coordinate on-time delivery of engineering project deliverables into customer development projects.
What you'll need
- Experience in the computing industry with a solid understanding of FPGA products, design, and applications.
- Strong knowledge of silicon test methodologies and implementation.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across various geographies to debug silicon and customer issues.
- Bachelor's or Master's in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering, or comparable disciplines.
