About the role
This role involves leading product development and customer technical engagement for SanDisk’s NAND wafer and component product line. You will focus on productizing SanDisk NAND technology into customer storage solutions.
What you'll do
- Serve as the technical lead for NAND wafer and component products.
- Act as the primary engineering point of contact for customer technical engagements.
- Translate customer system requirements into NAND product specifications and configurations.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to address customer technical queries and issues.
- Develop clear, accurate, and customer-appropriate technical responses.
- Deliver technical training to FAEs, marketing, and other internal teams on NAND technology.
What you'll need
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- 10+ years of industry experience in NAND flash memory, storage products, or semiconductor technologies.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in NAND flash memory engineering.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex technical issues to resolution.
- Strong knowledge of NAND flash memory technology, including specifications, Toggle mode interface protocols, cell reliability, qualification, and manufacturing processes.
Nice to have
- Experience in NAND application engineering or technical program management.
- Direct experience supporting OEMs, hyperscalers, or system integrators on NAND adoption, qualification, and productization.
