About the role
This role involves the from-scratch design and ownership of complex analog IPs and sub-blocks within large PMICs, Linear, and Switching DC-DC converters.
What you'll do
- Design and own complex IPs including charge pumps, LDOs, oscillators, temperature sensors, SAR ADCs, and protection circuits.
- Implement and compensate control loops and analog feedback loops.
- Independently own, design, and budget complete switching converters (Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost) and LDOs.
- Select and implement control loop architectures (Constant Freq, Constant ON/OFF Time, Current mode) to meet converter performance specifications.
- Collaborate with layout leads from floor planning through chip top completion and verification.
- Optimize simulation setups based on Pre/Post parasitic extraction and debug tool-related challenges.
What you'll need
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years in Analog Circuit Design, Simulation, and Verification.
- Solid understanding and design experience of complex analog designs with full ownership.
- Experience with chip design, verification, silicon validation, debugs, and taking ICs to production.
- In-depth understanding of ESD, LU, and IC level issues, with the ability to define protection for the I/O ring.
Nice to have
- In-depth knowledge of Analog layouts.
- Experience with end-to-end IC development flow.
- Ability to lead a small group of Engineers and navigate all stages of IC development.
