About the role
This position is responsible for implementing and continuously improving the EHS program to ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations and Entegris' EHS requirements. This role will identify, prevent and resolve potential EHS issues as a member of the site management team, working with the EHS department.
What you'll do
- Manage equipment safety, including risk assessment, certification, auditing, and management of automated equipment and equipment with fire and explosion risks.
- Manage Process Safety Management (PSM) projects, including local Taiwan hazardous workplace assessment and Entegris Global's process safety management projects (PSSR/MI/LOTOTO).
- Manage fire safety and damage prevention projects, including public hazardous materials, fire department correspondence, property insurance company correspondence, safety compliance assessments for utilities or production equipment, and EHS change management.
- Assist in implementing factory safety management to ensure compliance.
- Assist in conducting statutory safety and health training.
- Assist in investigating accidents/incidents and developing corrective and preventative actions.
What you'll need
- Master's degree in safety, environmental engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 7 years of EHS management experience in the semiconductor, optoelectronics, or chemical industries.
- Hold a Class B Occupational Safety and Health Management certificate and a Process Safety Assessment Personnel certificate.
- Experience operating in accordance with SEMI, NFPA, FM/UL standards, and local Taiwanese EHS regulations.
- Project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
