About the role

As a Senior Specialist I, EHS, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs for ASM's Service organization at an assigned site and associated customer locations.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with site leadership to integrate EHS expectations into daily service operations.
  • Implement ASM EHS policies, standards, programs, and initiatives at assigned sites and customer locations.
  • Maintain awareness of applicable regulatory requirements and customer EHS standards.
  • Conduct regular field observations, safety walks, inspections, and behavioral safety engagements.
  • Support reporting, investigation, and documentation of incidents, near misses, and occupational health concerns.
  • Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and EHS communications.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety within manufacturing, semiconductor, high-technology, field service, or related industries.
  • Working knowledge of applicable occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing, equipment servicing, cleanroom environments, and customer facilities.
  • Ability to influence safe behaviors through collaboration and engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS data management tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in semiconductor fabs, cleanroom environments, laboratories, or other high-tech manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience supporting field service personnel, contractors, or customer-facing operations.
  • OSHA 511, ASP, CSP or other EHS certification.
  • Experience with chemical, gas, industrial hygiene, ergonomic, and electrical safety hazards.
