About the role
This role involves driving customer success and automotive design wins for products within the Automotive segment in India. This position focuses on Power Electronics and Automotive Systems.
What you'll do
- Achieve Design Win Targets for Automotive segment products in India.
- Provide technical support to direct OEMs/Tier-1s, distribution customers, and design-houses for Infineon product adoption.
- Conduct technical analysis of circuits/boards to resolve issues, meet customer criteria, or benchmark against competitors' products.
- Develop proof of concepts/demonstrators/reference solutions to support customers and build system knowledge.
- Capture and feed regional requirements, product issues/fixes, and improvement ideas to Headquarters.
- Prepare and conduct technical trainings, workshops, and seminars in India.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Embedded Systems.
- 5+ years of system application engineering experience in Power Electronics, preferably in the Automotive domain.
- In-depth understanding of principles and concepts of MOSFETs, IGBTs, Gate Drivers, Bridges, High/Low side, AC/DC, DC/DC, and different circuit topologies.
- Good understanding of Discrete Power Semiconductor and fundamentals in power electronics system modeling with PSpice/MathCad/MathLab.
- Exposure to Circuit/PCB design, Thermal Simulations and Analysis, Prototyping, Board bring-up, Hardware testing, and debugging.
- Ability to work with Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Power Supply, and Power Analyzer for testing and debugging.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills for embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
