About the role
This role is for an experienced Senior Software Engineer on the Embedded Platform team, responsible for software system development for NVIDIA's Jetson, IGX, and DGX Spark platforms.
What you'll do
- Implement features showcasing the capabilities of Jetson, IGX, and DGX Spark platforms.
- Bring AI at-the-edge generations to life through work on system-on-module designs.
- Contribute to hardware platform bringup, boot firmware, Linux kernel device drivers, RTOS firmware, and software SDKs.
- Collaborate with teams to craft and develop system-level software solutions.
- Engage in the full product lifecycle, from hardware bring-up to production deployment.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Linux and embedded systems development.
- C/C++/bash programming skills.
- Ability to understand platform hardware schematics and engage with the hardware team.
- Knowledge of oscilloscope and logic analyzer for hardware debugging.
- Knowledge of software debugging tools specifically used at Linux kernel and firmware level.
- Prior experience driving platform board support package (BSP) features and release.
