About the role
This role involves defining and implementing Graphcore’s debugging capability to support developers building and optimising workloads on Graphcore AI processors. Your work will focus on adapting and expanding debugger functionality, resolving complex issues across software and hardware boundaries.
What you'll do
- Adapt and expand debugger functionality.
- Resolve complex issues across software and hardware boundaries.
- Help internal and external users understand behaviour and improve performance.
- Collaborate across software, firmware, hardware, partner and customer teams.
What you'll need
- Experience using debuggers to resolve complex program issues.
- Strong low-level programming skills in C, C++ or Rust.
- Strong understanding of processor architectures.
- Ability to communicate clearly across software, firmware and hardware teams.
- A proactive, self-driven approach to improving product quality and functionality.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with compiler toolchains.
- Familiarity with debugging protocols.
- Familiarity with Python.
- Familiarity with IDE development.
- Familiarity with PyTorch.
