About the role
NVIDIA’s Hyperscale Engineering team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop networking solutions for large-scale AI infrastructure. The role focuses on building, integrating, and troubleshooting software for BlueField and ConnectX platforms.
What you'll do
- Work with customers to understand networking requirements and develop technical solutions. - Develop and integrate networking software for BlueField and ConnectX platforms. - Test and optimize RDMA and RoCE solutions for performance and reliability. - Investigate issues across applications, networking libraries, drivers, firmware, and switches. - Analyze packet drops, congestion, latency, and throughput to identify problems and recommend improvements. - Create test cases and automation to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and measure performance.
What you'll need
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 8+ years of relevant software or systems engineering experience. - Experience programming in C and developing or debugging software on Linux. - Knowledge of networking protocols and experience with RDMA, RoCE, or other high-performance networking technologies. - Experience investigating technical issues and evaluating possible solutions.
