Join the Agentic Engineering team, building agentic workflows to automate code generation, testing, and tuning across NVIDIA's frameworks and compilers.
About the role
This role focuses on developing agentic workflows for automating code generation, testing, and tuning within NVIDIA's deep learning frameworks and compilers. You will contribute to greenfield opportunities within a high-autonomy team focused on applying modern AI to engineering processes.
What you'll do
- Develop a deep understanding of internal customer friction points to identify high-impact agentic workflow opportunities.
- Iterate on proof points with early-adopter teams to validate or revise plans as requirements evolve.
- Use technical judgment to distinguish durable architectural opportunities from short-term trends in applied ML.
- Agent-ify compiler infrastructure to enable autonomous agents for high-dimensional optimizations with closed-loop validation.
- Implement multi-agent orchestration for LLM-native tooling or custom work with frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph.
- Integrate agentic systems into git-native workflows and CI pipelines for building, testing, and iterating against GPUs.
What you'll need
- MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Working knowledge of GPUs or other highly data-parallel systems.
- Demonstrated projects or work experience using and supporting AI systems.
- Track record of shipping complex projects with minimal direction.
- Experience building tools or systems shaped by direct partnership with internal customer or user teams.
- Experience leading technical work through changing requirements and revising direction.
- Experience in multi-agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph) or LLM-based workflow automation.
- Experience in compiler infrastructure, intermediate representations, or program transformation.
- Experience in autonomous search or optimization over high-dimensional parameter spaces.
- Experience in hardware-aware performance optimization for deep learning workloads.
- Experience in code generation systems or domain-specific languages (DSLs).

How we counted: 973 open Infrastructure/Platform Software (Infrastructure Platform) roles from 85 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 15 Oct 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Software, Firmware & Systems family row.
