About the role
As a Senior Software Development Tech Lead in Santa Clara, you will serve as a hands-on individual contributor leading firmware and network OS (NVOS) development for NVLink, NVIDIA's datacenter networking fabric.
What you'll do
- Spearhead end-to-end development and implementation of features that allow customers to configure, install, and resolve issues with NVLink datacenter fabric. - Act as the technical point of contact and own the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for Firmware and NVOS programs. - Define technical direction, work breakdowns, and quality standards for NVLink features, driving them from concept to production. - Collaborate with product, test, applications engineering, production/manufacturing, and partner engineering teams to translate customer issues into concrete product solutions. - Implement application flows built on the networking fabric to support CSP customer deployments. - Establish guidelines for evaluation, observability, and continuous improvement of networking infrastructure from manufacturing to production networks.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, EE, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. - Over 12+ years of direct software development experience, including substantial responsibility for complex, customer-facing systems or platforms. - Track record as a technical lead, engineering manager, or architect delivering networking and datacenter infrastructure features or products. - Experience developing or leading firmware and/or OS development for network infrastructure. - Hands-on development experience in embedded C/C++ and Python. - Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction across teams while operating as an individual contributor.
