About the role
This role leads power module R&D projects from initial design through production ramp based in Shanghai. The focus centers on IGBT and SiC MOSFET power module design, electrical characterization, and cross-functional project execution.
What you'll do
- Design power modules (IGBT/SiC MOSFET) according to customer specifications.
- Collaborate with marketing, product definition, and application experts to deliver solutions.
- Define and perform electrical characterization of power modules, and generate, review, and release product datasheets and test specifications.
- Build international project teams, establish project plans according to customer requirements, manage risks, and steer execution to meet schedule, budget, performance, and quality targets.
- Coordinate with global production sites to ensure smooth production ramp, serving as the main contact person for project topics.
What you'll need
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Electronics or similar fields.
- 1-3 years of engineering experience in power electronics products design or application.
- Solid knowledge of module design and interconnect technologies.
- Solid knowhow about power electronics device physics (IGBT, SiC etc.), electrical parameters, and device physical trade-offs.
- Technical understanding of power electronics application.
- Proficiency in Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Working experience with distributed international teams.
- Basic understanding of Project Management tools and methods.
- Previous experience in Project Management.
