Senior Quality Engineer - Binan, PH, Philippines
About the role
This Senior Quality Engineer role manages and resolves customer quality complaints and ensures regulatory compliance. The role uses data to drive continuous improvement across production, product, design, and supply chain processes.
What you'll do
- Respond to customer complaints and non-conformance of finished products, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
- Lead technical failure analyses/investigation of returned parts or products and defect logs.
- Generate and issue 8D reports, ensuring compliance with 8D requirements and customer reports.
- Monitor Customer Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and coordinate action measures for missed metrics.
- Conduct CAPA audits for internal plants and support external audits for subcons.
- Drive continuous improvement plans (CIPs) to address systemic quality issues within the internal plant.
What you'll need
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics/Electrical Engineering).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality Assurance functions acquired from a semiconductor company.
- Strong knowledge in Problem Solving Techniques, Process and Quality Control Tools, and Risk Assessment.
- Expertise in manufacturing and working principles of MOSFETs and IC products, including wafer, package, assembly, failure mode and effect, and analytical techniques.
- Exposure to External Manufacturing.
