About the role
As a Senior Product Engineer at MACOM, you will oversee new product introduction, design for manufacturability, and manufacturing test processes. You will collaborate across design, foundry, packaging, and reliability teams to achieve engineering targets and manage product quality.
What you'll do
- Interface with design groups on new product introduction (NPI) and design for manufacturability (DFM). - Continuously improve manufacturing test processes. - Liaise with foundry and packaging houses to ensure engineering and production targets are achieved. - Monitor and investigate yield issues arising from any stage in the manufacturing and testing process. - Manage and design new classes of package. - Support the reliability team in new product qualification and failure analysis.
What you'll need
- Experience interfacing with design teams on new product introduction and design for manufacturability. - Background in monitoring and investigating yield issues across semiconductor manufacturing and testing processes. - Experience coordinating with external foundry and packaging houses to meet production targets. - Hands-on experience with package design and manufacturing test process improvement. - Familiarity with product qualification and failure analysis workflows.
