About the role
This role involves leading the definition, architecture, design, verification, and validation of complex analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for power management applications. You will be part of a team developing hybrid converter and power delivery solutions for automotive and robotics applications.
What you'll do
- Lead definition, architecture, design, verification, and validation of complex analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
- Drive system-level and block-level architecture tradeoff analysis for circuit solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for critical circuit developments, including power management, data converters, control loops, references, protection circuits, and mixed-signal subsystems.
- Own technical risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout the development cycle.
- Collaborate with system architects, digital design, AMS verification, layout, product engineering, validation, functional safety, reliability, and program management teams.
- Review and approve key design deliverables, including specifications, architecture documents, and design reviews.
What you'll need
- M.S. degree in electrical engineering.
- At least 10 years direct experience designing analog and mixed-signal transistor level circuitry for power management applications.
- Expertise in analog circuit design theory and control theory.
- Ability to design traditional analog MOS and BJT circuits such as bandgap references, amplifiers, oscillators, detection circuits, linear LDO and switching regulators.
Nice to have
- PhD degree.
- Ability to design DC-DC converter, switch cap converter and load switches.
- Hybrid Converter experience.
- Experience with mixed-signal design tools and flow.
- Reading and writing Verilog AMS models.

How we counted: 93 open Analog IC Design (Power Management) roles from 15 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 30 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row.
