About the role

The Senior Power Systems Engineer contributes to system engineering in power systems development within the Datacenter Infrastructure team. The role focuses on hardware and software system solutions for datacenter energy and thermal management, covering HV AC/DC and DC/DC power generation, distribution, backup, monitoring, and cooling.

What you'll do

• Develop hardware system solutions for customer engagements and datacenter infrastructure opportunities.
• Communicate technical information regarding hardware system development to BU Applications, Sales FAEs, and customers through presentations and written documentation.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with field teams and key datacenter accounts.
• Serve as the resident authority on hardware design requirements for safety and reliability.
• Identify customer and industry requirements and communicate them to internal BU organizations to guide product development concepts and roadmaps.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software/firmware engineering, and marketing teams through prototype development.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.).
• At least 4 years of working experience, including a minimum of 2 years of experience in datacenter power systems within semiconductor or non-semiconductor environments.
• Knowledge and relevant experience in power systems deployed in data centers, including HV AC/DC and DC/DC power generation, distribution, backup, monitoring, cooling, and optimization.
• Experience in technical customer interface, requirement gathering, and customer proposal development.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.

Nice to have

• M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
