About the role
This role involves sustaining and continuously improving highly complex containers for specialty chemical products used in semiconductor manufacturing. You will support day-to-day operations for the engineering component of the container hardware work cell.
What you'll do
- Lead continuous improvement projects and use statistical data analysis for qualification.
- Leverage statistical process control tools and methodology to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support strategic business and operational improvements through data-driven analysis.
- Complete failure analysis to identify root cause and implement corrective/preventative actions.
- Utilize structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Why, RCA, Fishbone to resolve product and process defects.
- Maintain and improve key process documentation, including critical master data in ERP systems.
What you'll need
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of process equipment.
- Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and statistical data analysis for Qualification and Validation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead structured problem solving using tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, RCA.
- Aptitude for leadership to drive cross-functional project execution and problem solving.
- Ability to present technical data to all levels of the organization.
Nice to have
- Experience with stainless steel hazardous material vessel design, valving, orbital welding.
- Experience with Minitab.
