About the role
This role leads the transformation of imaging for the Jetson platform, defining and delivering the imaging software roadmap.
What you'll do
- Lead delivery of sensing and imaging technologies into the Jetson BSP across drivers, algorithms, frameworks, agents, and skills.
- Support a team transitioning to an agentic development workflow that improves execution velocity, transparency, software quality, and system performance.
- Translate customer and ecosystem requirements into prioritized capabilities and measurable product outcomes.
- Align engineering efforts between software and partner teams in imaging research, tuning, Jetson product, hardware, and QA to ship features into releases on a predictable schedule.
- Develop and mentor engineering managers and senior technical leaders while crafting opportunities for the broader team to grow.
What you'll need
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ overall years of relevant software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading software teams.
- Experience developing embedded Linux software for systems-on-chip with modern agentic workflows, including device drivers, platform bring-up, and debugging on target hardware.
- Technical depth in C, C++, or Rust systems software, with the ability to guide architecture, performance optimization, and system-level debugging.
- Ability to translate market requirements into software roadmaps and align interdisciplinary, matrixed teams to deliver results.
- Hands-on development experience with modern agentic tools, skills, and workflows.
