About the role

This role involves developing GPU architecture improvements and chip design infrastructure optimized for scalability, performance, area, and yield. You will collaborate across ASIC design, software, and VLSI teams to build functional models, yield simulators, and architecture specifications.

What you'll do

- Develop GPU architecture improvements optimizing along the axes of scalability/modularity, performance, area, yield, effort, and schedule. - Develop and enhance chip design infrastructure, including functional models, yield simulators, testbench components, and analysis tools to evaluate configurations under different constraints. - Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures and features. - Implement and maintain functional, performance, and yield models across modeling teams to optimize chip yield and performance. - Document architecture specifications and collaborate with ASIC design, software, and VLSI teams to evaluate trade-offs and define solutions. - Collaborate with Design, Floorplan, Packaging, and Systems Engineering teams to validate architectural choices against performance, cost, and scalability targets.

What you'll need

- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields (or equivalent experience). - Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in GPU or CPU System Architecture development. - Proficient programming skills in C++ and Python. - Solid background in Computer Architecture with experience in modeling. - Debugging and problem-solving experience with a track record of driving issues to closure.
