About the role
This role involves monitoring, controlling, and qualifying 300 mm diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Monitor, control, and qualify 300 mm diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities and train others.
- React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment.
- Review Statistical Process Control charts for process quality and react to Out of Control conditions, including defect troubleshooting.
- Perform visual inspections (quality checks) and train others.
- Recover from process and tool interruptions.
What you'll need
- High School Degree (or equivalent).
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.
- Ability to perform shift work on a 12-hour shift schedule in a cleanroom environment.
- Ability to wear required cleanroom & safety protective clothing and equipment for 12 hours.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis.
Nice to have
- Experience identifying and addressing potential areas for improvement and optimizing tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
- Experience actively participating in continuous improvement processes.
