This role involves sustaining and operating the fab floor with primary responsibility for resolving equipment and process issues. This position specifically focuses on 300mm diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment.
What you'll do
- Monitor, control, and qualify 300 mm diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance activities and train others
- React to error messages of factory systems and equipment
- Review Statistical Process Control charts and other system indicators for process quality and react to Out of Control conditions, including defect troubleshooting
- Perform visual inspections (quality checks)
- Recover from process and tool interruptions
What you'll need
- High School Degree (or equivalent)
- 6-8 years of relevant experience
- Able to perform shift work on a 12-hour shift schedule
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor industry and Onsemi protocol/requirements
- Able to wear all required cleanroom & safety protective clothing and equipment throughout a 12-hour day
- Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis
