About the role
This role is for a Senior Furnace Technician responsible for sustaining and running a 300mm factory fab floor by resolving equipment and process issues. You will primarily work with 300mm diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment.
What you'll do
- Monitor, control, and qualify 300mm diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment.
- Perform and train others on preventive maintenance activities.
- React to error messages from factory systems and/or equipment.
- Review Statistical Process Control charts and other system indicators, reacting to Out of Control conditions, including defect troubleshooting.
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement to optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
- Complete all required reporting and documentation.
What you'll need
- High School Degree (or equivalent).
- 6-8 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to perform shift work on a 12-hour shift schedule.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor industry and onsemi protocol/requirements.
- Ability to wear all required cleanroom & safety protective clothing and equipment throughout a 12-hour day.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis.
