Work on the Cerebras Developer Console.
About the role
This role involves owning and scaling critical parts of the Cerebras Developer Console, which is the primary interface for running and managing inference workloads. The systems built will power usage tracking, billing, quotas, and observability for an AI platform.
What you'll do
- Own a major area of the platform, taking end-to-end responsibility for systems such as billing, usage tracking, quotas, request logs, or metrics.
- Build and evolve core systems by designing and implementing APIs, services, and UI that power the Developer Console and scale with growing customer usage.
- Make architectural decisions by defining system boundaries, data models, and tradeoffs across real-time vs batch processing, performance, and cost.
- Drive projects from idea to production, taking ambiguous problems, defining solutions, and delivering them.
- Lead technical execution by breaking down work, aligning engineers, and ensuring high-quality delivery across the stack.
- Improve system reliability and visibility, ensuring systems are observable, debuggable, and production-ready.
What you'll need
- Track record of ownership, having led and delivered complex systems end-to-end.
- Technical depth in backend systems, including APIs, data modeling, and distributed systems.
- Full-stack capability, comfortable working across frontend and backend.
- Strong technical judgment to make sound architectural decisions.
- Ability to operate without structure to bring clarity to ambiguous problems and drive execution independently.
- High standards for quality, caring about correctness, maintainability, and long-term system health.
- 8+ years of industry experience building and operating production systems.
- Bachelor’s or master's in computer science (or equivalent practical experience).
Nice to have
- Experience with high-scale or real-time systems.
- Influence and mentorship to elevate the team through design reviews, guidance, and leading by example.
- Bias for action to move quickly, unblock self and others, and focus on impact.
- Experience in fast-moving environments, comfortable with shifting priorities and evolving scope.

How we counted: 956 open Infrastructure/Platform Software (Infrastructure Platform) roles from 86 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 14 Oct 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Software, Firmware & Systems family row.
