Senior Firmware Validation Engineer
About the role
As a Senior Firmware Validation Engineer at Ahead Computing, you will define and drive the validation strategy for low-level firmware and software targeting RISC-V cores. Working at the boundary of hardware and software, you will build test environments and automation across pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms.
What you'll do
- Define and drive the validation strategy for low-level firmware and software. - Build test environments and automation to validate firmware correctness, performance, and resilience across pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms. - Collaborate closely with architects, RTL design engineers, and software teams to exercise, debug, and ready cores for production. - Establish the firmware validation methodology from the ground up for CPU development.
What you'll need
- Experience validating low-level firmware and software at the hardware-software boundary. - Background in pre-silicon and post-silicon test environment development and automation. - Experience collaborating with CPU architects, RTL design engineers, and software engineering teams. - Technical background working with RISC-V or modern CPU architectures.
