About the role
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to implement networking features for NIC and Switch firmware across AI, cloud, HPC, and storage applications.
What you'll do
- Work closely with architecture and cross-functional software and hardware design teams. - Implement new features for NVIDIA NIC and Switch firmware. - Develop verification tests for advanced features within the firmware testing environment. - Collaborate with chip design, board designers, silicon, software, and program management teams to debug firmware and validation issues. - Participate in early modeling, simulation, and schematic and layout reviews on board designs.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience. - 8+ years of experience in firmware. - Strong C/C++ and OOP capabilities. - Strong understanding of digital design, computer architecture, Linux, drivers, and CPU/GPU/SOC architecture. - Hands-on familiarity with Linux scripting languages and Python.
