The Senior Firmware Engineer designs and develops embedded firmware for microcontrollers. This role focuses on developing and maintaining firmware for STMicroelectronics (ST) microcontrollers using C++.
What you'll do
- Design and develop embedded firmware for STMicroelectronics (ST) microcontrollers using C++. - Create graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and test tools using Python or other programming languages to support firmware validation and debugging. - Utilize laboratory equipment, including logic analyzers and oscilloscopes, to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and firmware issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support circuit design, integration, and system-level testing. - Maintain documentation of firmware architecture, code development, test procedures, and validation results.
What you'll need
- MS in Electrical Engineering or related technical fields. - Deep understanding of MCUs. - Solid foundation in digital circuit design. - Hands-on experience using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes to troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues. - Proficiency in C++ and experience creating test tools with Python.
