About the role
This role involves serving as a technical Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support OEM teams from planning through operational handover.
What you'll do
- Serve as the technical FAE with end customers, NVIS, and OEM deployment teams.
- Coordinate site readiness, equipment availability, and installation requirements.
- Guide deployment teams through installation, system bring-up, integration, and validation.
- Drive deployment issue resolution and address partner concerns.
- Maintain deployment documentation and improve procedures.
What you'll need
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data center deployment, systems engineering, infrastructure integration, or technical delivery.
- Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting servers, GPU systems, or clustered infrastructure.
- Experience with Linux, BIOS/UEFI, BMC management, drivers, firmware, and system diagnostics.
- Strong project-management and customer communication skills.
- Ability to operate from the Round Rock area and travel to customer and deployment sites.
