About the role
The (Senior) Field Application Engineer manages technical customer interactions in India, acting as a technical expert to guide customer evaluation, adoption, and deployment of Axelera AI hardware. Hands-on work focuses on using the Voyager SDK to deploy AI models and pipelines across PCIe boards, modules, and vision gateways.
What you'll do
- Engage with customers in India to understand requirements and serve as a technical expert on the Metis AI platform. - Guide customers through the evaluation, adoption, and deployment of PCIe boards, modules, and vision gateways using the Voyager SDK. - Resolve technical inquiries directly or coordinate with R&D teams across Europe and India. - Support Sales in expanding existing accounts, identifying new customers, and defending design wins. - Gather customer feedback, conduct competitive analysis, and assist in creating instructive product documentation. - Advocate for customer requirements internally with Product Management to drive product enhancements.
What you'll need
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience. - 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor and/or Artificial Intelligence industry in a customer-facing application development or technical support role. - Programming experience in languages such as Python, C/C++, OpenCL, or CUDA. - Experience using a high-level ML framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. - Solid understanding of embedded systems, practical experience with embedded hardware, and understanding of server systems. - Ability to travel to company sites and client locations as needed (30%+ travel).
