About the role
The Senior Equipment Engineer installs, qualifies, maintains, and optimizes Etch, PECVD, and Sputter equipment in a semiconductor cleanroom fab environment. The position supports indium phosphide (InP) manufacturing operations driving yield, uptime, and process stability.
What you'll do
- Execute equipment installation and qualification for new fab tools. - Manage equipment sustainment, including troubleshooting, repairs, and technical documentation. - Partner with process engineers to resolve production issues and support process stability. - Manage tool performance metrics, track vendor performance, and write purchase requisitions for parts and vendors. - Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies across fab equipment.
What you'll need
- AA or BS degree with 10+ years of experience in wafer fab equipment engineering. - Semiconductor fab experience with ICP, RIE etcher, PECVD tools, Ebeam's, and sputters. - Experience in photolithography. - Strong equipment troubleshooting and data analysis capabilities. - Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing a bunny suit, facemask, gloves, booties, and proper PPE.
