About the role
This role involves overseeing manufacturing processes and quality control on the supplier floor as NVIDIA's technical authority in the region. You will ensure compliance with engineering specifications at strategic suppliers in Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area.
What you'll do
- Maintain a high-frequency, hands-on presence at supplier sites.
- Verify execution of key process steps, monitoring points, and work instructions.
- Enforce outgoing quality control (OQC) prior to shipment.
- Review yield, SPC, and quality data daily to detect process drift.
- Conduct and support supplier technical audits and verify corrective actions.
- Surface issues related to operator practice, handling, fixturing, tooling condition, and line discipline.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or supplier quality engineering.
- Understanding of the manufacturing process.
- Proven ability to enforce a standard with a supplier.
- Proactive mentality with recommendations for problems.
- Strong working knowledge of process control and problem-solving methodologies (SPC, MSA, 8D, root cause analysis).
- Based in Shenzhen or willing to relocate, with frequent travel to supplier and sub-supplier sites.
- Professional fluency in Mandarin and English.
