About the role
This role involves managing and optimizing semiconductor test equipment for product reliability testing, focusing on electrical test setup, maintenance, and process improvement.
What you'll do
- Manage test equipment for product reliability testing, including electrical test setup, buy-off, maintenance, repair, modification, and optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement of test equipment, methods, and processes to ensure reliable and efficient testing operations.
- Plan and manage Technical Feasibility Checks on reliability projects with low complexity/quantity.
- Liaise with Lab Planners and Operations for test package release and assignment activities.
- Maintain, repair, modify, optimize, and buy-off Automatic Test Equipment, Load/DUT boards, adapters, sockets, handlers, and temperature conditioning systems.
- Monitor and report on test activities, including machine down/malfunction, delays, and bottlenecks.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics or equivalent) or Applied Science, or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) with minimum 5 years of working experience.
- Minimum 3 years related experience in semiconductor testing equipment.
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor physics, packaging technology, wafer technologies, and interpretation of typical electrical characteristics of semiconductor devices.
- Knowledge of automatic data transfer from tester to database, tester data file format, and drift analysis.
- Knowledge of reliability reference standards, test methodologies, and concepts for low & medium complexity products.
- Knowledge of the working principle, troubleshooting, diagnostic, test program debugging, interpretation of simple schematic/electronic circuitry, and basic repair of Automatic Test equipment.
- Experience in setup, modification, and optimization of Tester/Handler/Thermostream (hardware/test recipe)/Adapter & Socket and process for system with low & medium complexity/quantity.
- Experience in Test Package buy-off & release using AMSA and assignment of Test Package to REALIS projects.
- Experience in Tester system buy-off & release using T32 and registration in REALIS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in Tri-temperature testing.
- Experience in the working principle of Automatic Test Equipment/Handler.
