About the role
Entegris is seeking a Senior Engineer, Quality Engineer to lead quality engineering initiatives that support manufacturing excellence, product compliance, and customer satisfaction across the Burnet site. This role focuses on driving improvements in Quality Notification (QN) management, Management of Change (MOC), Product Change Notifications (PCNs), labeling compliance, Certificate of Analysis (CoA) processes, and hardware-related quality performance.
What you'll do
- Lead site efforts to improve Quality Notification (QN) timeliness and reduce investigation backlog.
- Drive Management of Change (MOC) and Product Change Notification (PCN) activities.
- Lead structured problem-solving activities utilizing 8D, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA.
- Drive robust containment actions, corrective actions, and preventive actions to eliminate recurring quality issues.
- Monitor and improve key quality metrics including QN aging, CAPA effectiveness, and MOC cycle time.
- Utilize statistical methods including SPC, process capability analysis, and trend analysis.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing Engineering within semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing customer complaints, 8D investigations, MOC, CAPA, and PCN processes.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Quality Management Systems.
- Demonstrated experience applying SPC, capability analysis, FMEA, DOE, Control Plans, and structured problem-solving tools.
- Ability to leverage SAP to support QNs, inspection lot management, nonconformance tracking, and material dispositions.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting manufacturing ramp-up, process qualification, validation activities, and change management.
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, or Lean certification.
