About the role
As a Senior Engineer I, you will join the functional validation group, a cross-functional team responsible for pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of NVMe Flash controller products. This role focuses on ensuring functional specification compliance and system interoperability under a wide range of operating environments.
What you'll do
- Plan, develop, code, and execute pre-silicon and post-silicon validation plans
- Perform Operating System level debug of post-silicon hardware and software issues
- Analyze and debug PCIe and NVMe protocols
- Build and support validation infrastructure through the development of embedded software, device drivers, and test tools
What you'll need
- Bachelor or Master degree in CS, CE, or EE
- 5+ years of experience in validation
- Proficiency in C and/or embedded C programming
- Experience with scripting (Tcl, Python)
- Excellent knowledge of digital systems and computer architecture
- Ability to develop functional validation plans and the software necessary to execute these plans
Nice to have
- Knowledge of PCI/PCI Express system architecture
- Familiarity with storage interfaces (e.g., NVMe, SCSI, AHCI, SATA, or SAS)
- Experience developing device drivers for Windows or Linux
- Experience in use of lab equipment (e.g., protocol analyzers)
- Knowledge in Machine Learning
